We all play a part in Utah’s air quality.
Some of us breathe deep at the worksite. Some on the playground. And others out on the trail. But whether we’re at work, at school or at play, we all breathe the same air to live. So, let’s do our best to keep it clean.

UCAIR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to improving Utah’s air quality through education, outreach, and collaboration. We work closely with partners across the state, including the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, whose mission is to protect and enhance Utah’s air, land, and water through balanced, science-based regulation. The Division of Air Quality, part of DEQ, provides data that helps guide our efforts. Whether you’re a community member, business, or policymaker, your engagement plays a vital role in making a lasting impact.
The air quality forecast reflects the highest pollution level expected each day. In summer, harmful ozone builds up throughout the day and usually clears overnight, so the choices we make each day matter.

The current Air Quality Index (AQI) shows how clean or polluted the air is and what it means for your health.
