Mission Statement

The mission of the Utah Legislature’s Clean Air Caucus is to provide regular and appropriate forums for members of the Utah Legislature for the purpose of:

  1. Educating and informing legislators about the nature, substance and science related to air quality including the causes of poor air quality and how it impacts Utah.
  2. Presenting to legislators information, data and evidence directly related to the protection and improvement of Utah’s air quality.
  3. Presenting proposed legislation and appropriation requests to legislators in a format that may include bill drafts, plans, concepts or ideas for the purpose of discussion and debate.
  4. It is not the primary purpose of the Caucus to hear proposals for products, services and businesses related to clean air.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s meetings.

Sincerely,

Senators Luz Escamilla and Todd Weiler
Representatives Joel Briscoe, Jen Dailey-Provost, Steve Handy, Suzanne Harrison, Lowry Snow, and Ray Ward
